So, I planned to blog every day of the summer. Did I do it? nope.
Life just isn't always meant to be captured.
I've started doing a couch to 5k program. I love it. I might not be able to breathe most of the day, but when I start running, I just feel *better*.
Hey, this is a place that I can complain about my allergies. It is mine after all. My place to say how I feel. And I feel terrible. Not in that "ugggh, I'm congested" kind of way. I feel terrible in that "I need a sinus/nose/ear/skin replacement" kind of way. Not only can I not breathe, my nose itches constantly. Not only does my throat hurt, it ITCHES. It makes me wish I could stick my hand down my throat and scratch it. And don't even get me started on whatever tube connects my ears to my throat. Please. I'm not sure if God could have made it work any other way, but I spend a lot of time wishing that tube just weren't there. And there ain't a dang thing that you can scratch that makes that feel better. And I couldn't rub my eyes any harder without causing significant damage. I've all but given up on wearing contacts. This doesn't touch the fact that I can't eat any fruits, any uncooked veggies (including carrots.... ohhh, how I miss carrots!), or nuts (including peanut butter). And my skin.... try poison ivy. Poison ivy that is constantly rubbed by wool pants. So yeah, that is me about 20 hours of the day, since I really sleep about 4 hours and spend the rest trying to keep my hands from doing damage to my body by trying to make the itching stop. For the record... this is generally after taking zyrtec, sudafed AND at least 2 benedryl.
But whatever, I'm not going to die from it. And it will go away. eventually.
And I just wrote this really long, REALLY depressing thing about deployments that I deleted because nobody in their right mind should be that depressing. I'm just having a rough night with it.
And I need to shower and study for a quiz tomorrow so that I finish early and can make the 2:05 showing of The Hunger Games with Miss Kylie Bright :)
