Teach your children well...
If we don't model what we teach then we're teaching something else. ~ Stolen from Patrick =)

I believe in Yesterday...
What a crazy day. Yesterday, I mean. I went to the gym, which is weird. I read 4 chapters of business law, which is a little bit of hell. And we went on a late-night cookout run.
But back to yesterdays. My past used to be littered with yesterdays. I'm proud to say that I've tidied up a little. Of course, all but one of our living days is proceeded by another day, but not all of those contain a regret that make them a yesterday. Last night, someone got me thinking about our yesterdays. He started by telling me that I could be more honest - which really confused me. Up until this point we had just been catching up - ya know, how is life, what is new, wow you've changed... Wow, you are the same.
Wondering about how the past might have been different is a very tricky thing. It appears to be a very innocent thing to do, and in all honesty.... it normally is innocent. But it makes me question whether people are really content. And it almost frustrates me, because in this case, we really might have had a chance. Would my life be different? Drastically. Who knows, I might not have transferred.
But it doesn't actually frustrate me, because I am content with where I am in my life. And that person is happy with their life. And honestly, I don't believe that either person is at fault. I remember what was going on around then, and I wouldn't have been mature enough to deal with much. So why regret?
This is me being as honest as I can possibly be. I do not hold it against you, I never did.
And my business law professor is a freaking 'cook' [not the culinary extraordinair]. How is that for honesty? [eh... and libel.]

The Basics.
Carrie Dictated my first post for me:
Your first post should be about your amazing roommate, Carrie, who [something about being responsible for the fact that I am so cool]. Good night, don't forget to say your prayers.
Low:Feeling really lousy after dinner tonight. And having to study foreverrrrr today.
Uh oh: Laughing at Johnathan's band-aid. Oh, and cleaning the shower. Gross.
God Moment: Sitting outside during dinner and watching the sun set.
